Faucet for Additive Manufacturing
Role:
In a Purdue ID project sponsored by Delta Faucet, Sam was responsible for the full design process of this faucet, from initial sketches to handoff to Delta’s product feasibility team.
Problem:
As new manufacturing methods are born, new design capabilities become possible. What would a widespread faucet look like if it was designed solely with additive manufacturing in mind?
Result:
This faucet design won the design project competition, earning a design patent and a feasibility study with Delta’s product feasibility team.
