Ambulance Attendant Seat
Role:
Sam led the industrial design throughout the program, establishing the initial concept and refining the direction as manufacturing and ergonomic feasibility was established. As one of IMMI’s first full-scale seating projects, Sam was part of the seating engineering team that pushed the boundaries of what the company was capable of.
Problem:
Design a seat for the ambulance attendant position. The seat should fit within the current envelope, be able to support a 4-point harness, and present a premium IMMI aesthetic.
Result:
The seat is currently in production for a family of ambulance OEMs, and is their standard attendant seat offering.
